Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – In the Kottakada area, it has been found that a Halal meat shop was using the Indian National Flag as a towel. Photos and videos of the incident are becoming viral on social media. When local nationalists complained to the Police regarding this, the Police allegedly acted after many hours. There is widespread condemnation of the incident in Kerala.

Raju, a local social activist who complained to the Police alleges, “I sent photos and video of the incident to the Police, but some Police officials alerted the concerned hotel owner due to which owner removed the National Flag before Police reached the site.”
