Whenever an Aurangzeb attacks Kashi, a Shivaji also rises to destroy him ! : Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Varanasi (UP) – After the inauguration of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham, in his speech addressing the gathering there, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, that when Aurangzeb entered Kashi to destroy it, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj rose to destroy him. When a Salar Masud marched ahead, warriors like Raja Suheldev made him realise the power of our unity. At the time of the British regime also Kashi witnessed how Warren Hestings was tortured by the people here. Hundreds of saints, sadhus, so also the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Dinesh Sharma, etc. were present on the occasion. While inaugurating, Prime Minister Modi had a dip in the river Ganga and carried the Holy water from the river Ganga, and offered a ritualistic puja in Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple. Before coming to the Kashi Vishwanath Dham the PM Modi offered puja in Shri Kalbhairav temple. At that time, people showered flowers on him. From there PM Narendra Modi enjoyed the Alaknanda cruise and approached the Lalita ghat in Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

In the evening, PM Modi attended the arati at Dashashwamedh ghat. He is going to address the Chief Ministers of BHP ruled States today.

Destroyers’ energy cannot surpass the energy of India and its devotion !

Every Indian carries unimaginable strength of making the impossible, possible. We are familiar with Tapa and Tapasya. We are ready for any struggle for the country. We can accept any kind of challenges and emerge successfully through them. Destroyers’ energy cannot survive the energy India has and its devotion. Realise that the perspective we have for the world, the same perspective the world has for us.

India is relieving itself from slavery !

Slavery suffered for many years had its toll on us. India had an inferiority complex, but now it is freeing itself from it. New India does not stop at the beautification of Shri Somnath temple, but it is spreading ‘Optical fibre’ for thousands of KMs in the sea. India today, does not stop at the restoration of the Shri Kedarnath temple but preparing itself to send Indians in space on its strength. Along with Prabhu Shriram’s temple in Ayodhya, India is building medical colleges in every District of the country.

Palakhi routes are also taken care of

With the blessings of crores of devotees of Deity Vitthal in Pandharpur, the Palakhi routes of Saint Dnyaneshwar and Saint Tukaram are also being constructed  since the last few weeks.

While addressing the gathering after the inauguration, PM Modi asked Indians to give three promises – All Indians will strive for maintaining hygiene, creativity, and self-reliant India.

Characteristics of Kashi Vishwanath Dham

  1. Kashi Vishwanath temple is directly connected to the river Ganga so that devotees will be able to bathe on Jalasen, Manikarnika and, Lalita ghats and enter the temple straight.
  2. Three centres are developed for passengers for their luggage safety; they can sit and rest there.
  3. Double storied building for Cultural programmes ‘Vaidik Kendra’ for Yoga and meditation for devotees
    ‘Spiritual Texts Kendra’ will also be there in the Dham premises for devotees coming from outside.
  4. A dining hall where 150 devotees can eat the Prasad at a time is being arranged.
  5. There is a Bhavan (building) for Mumukshu (A seeker with the intense desire for attaining God-realisation)
    Four Huge Doors (Entrances) are made in Kashi Vishwanath Dham.
  6. A Control room is ready with all the modern facilities and CCTV cameras are being installed in the whole premises of the Dham.
  7. Arrangements of emergency medical facilities along with an ambulance also are being undertaken.
  8. One District – One store, shops with handicrafts and, eateries are also being opened.
  9. Rudraksha, Bel, Parijat trees are dear to Mahadev, in addition to these, the Ashok trees are being planted in this premises.
    Special arrangement is being made for elders in the Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Escalators are being provided in the Dham.
