Khalistani terrorists may attack Punjab : NIA informs Punjab Police

Jalandhar (Punjab) – The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has informed the Punjab Police that Khalistani terrorists are planning to carry out attacks in Punjab and create terror. Reportedly, the first target of the attacks will be Police stations in the State of Punjab. In the last few days, 5 Police stations in the State have been attacked with hand grenades and bombs.

The information states that these attacks could be similar to the attacks carried out by Khalistanis in Punjab in 1984, targeting a person, building or institution in the area. An attempt is being made to turn locals into terrorists for such attacks.

Possibility of Khalistani terrorists carrying out an attack with the help of Pakistan

Khalistan Tiger Force, Babbar Khalsa International and other Khalistani terrorist organizations are using Chinese equipment. Such equipment has been seized by the investigation agencies earlier. Such equipment has been used by the armies of some countries. Khalistani terrorists are working in collaboration with Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence).

Editorial Perspectives

  • Often, intelligence agencies inform the Police about terrorist attacks; however, due to the inaction of the local Police, terrorists are seen succeeding in their plans. Hopefully, it would not happen now.
  • It is necessary to take drastic steps to completely eliminate Khalistani terrorists and their supporters before they can attack.
