New Delhi – Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s symbolic support for Palestine, while attending the Parliamentary proceedings on Monday, elicited multiple reactions from across the political spectrum.
As Congress lawmaker Priyanka Gandhi reached the Parliament complex on Monday, she carried a handbag inscribed with Palestine tag and also emblazoned with some Palestinian emblems. Recently, she had met Palestine’s Ambassador to India Abed Elrazeg Abu Jazer. The Palestinian Ambassador had congratulated Priyanka Vadra on her victory in the Wayanad Lok Sabha elections. Priyanka Vadra had expressed her support for Palestine during her meeting with Ambassador Abu Jazer. She had said that she has been living for the welfare of Palestinians since childhood and believes in justice.
