Malayali filmmaker Ali Akbar renounced Islam and converted to Hindu Dharma

Religious fanatics celebrating CDS Bipin Rawat’s death on social media is the reason behind this decision

(CDS stands for Chief of Defense Staff, i.e., the Chief of all three armed forces)

Editorial comments

  • A filmmaker feels bad about the perverted mentality of the religious fanatics who celebrate in this way, but the so-called political parties in India like Congress, NCP, Samajwadi Party, CPI(M), AamAadmi Party do not feel bad and neither do they oppose it !
  • What should people interpret from the fact that Muslim organisations, their leaders, clerics, etc. do not raise objections on such Muslims who express joy on the death of the country’s CDS ?
  • The Government of India should provide assistance and protection to the Muslims in India who feel sorry for the treacherous acts of their fellow Muslim brethren and wish to convert to Hindu Dharma !

Kochi (Kerala) – Ali Akbar, a renowned filmmaker from Kerala, has decided to renounce Islam and embrace Hindu Dharma due to the disrespectful reactions by some people to the news of the accidental death of CDS Bipin Rawat. He is going to embrace Hindu Dharma along with his wife. The religious fanatics had posted many comments and pictures on social media expressing joy over Rawat’s demise. That is why Akbar felt bad about this and decided to convert. He has also posted a video about it on Facebook. His video was criticised by many Muslim users, who also used abusive language while condemning him.

Akbar said, ‘Even the senior Muslim leaders did not oppose the traitors who insulted the valiant Army Chief. Because of all this, I have lost faith in this religion. So today I am giving up this identity I got from birth. Hereafter, I am not a Muslim. I am an Indian. This is my response to those who have shared thousands of laughing emojis (smileys used on social media to express various emotions) on the news of General Rawat’s demise.

In another post, Akbar wrote that the country should identify and punish those who laughed after the death of General Rawat. (Why the Police and the Government do not understand what a filmmaker understands ? – Editor) Many anti-national activities are happening on social media. Laughing at Rawat’s death is a recent example. Those who celebrate Rawat’s death belong to a particular religion. Rawat had often cracked down on terrorists in Pakistan and Kashmir, and this might be the reason behind some people laughing at his demise.
