Brahma Chellaney has the blood of Indian troops on his hands : Global Times pesters again

‘Global Times’ criticises defence expert Brahma Chellaney yet again

Editorial comment

Obviously the claim made by the Indian defence expert did not go down well with China and hence, it is provoked ! Hence, what is wrong if someone keeps saying ‘China is behind this accident’ ?

Beijing (China) –The two distinct accidents that claimed the lives of Bipin Rawat, Chief of India’s three armed forces, and Taiwan’s Army Chief, who was a staunch opponent of China, had grave similarities in them, claims India’s defence expert Brahma Chellaney. The Chinese Government mouthpiece ‘Global Times’ has spewed venom against Chellaney after these claims. The mouthpiece said that Chellaney had the blood of Indian troops on his hands by pushing the conspiracy theory.

Global Times said, ‘The crash of a helicopter with India’s highest-ranking military officer on board was unfortunate. But Brahma Chellaney, a so-called expert in India, is taking advantage of this misfortune by trying to create tension in China-India relations. Chellaney is leading India in the wrong direction. He is rather pulling India backwards. Chellaney and other radical Indians should be reminded that it was India’s own military helicopter that failed to protect their defence Chief. The probability of such an accident is extremely low, yet it did occur in India. This means the biggest enemy of India is not China, but its own backwardness. Chellaney and his likes have contributed nothing good to China-India relations or India’s own development. Quite to the contrary, they have been pushing not only India’s neighbours but also India, into trouble’.
