‘We are 40 crores, don’t underrate us’

Samajwadi Party MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq issues threat over Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s statement regarding temple in Mathura !

Editorial comments

  • Given that Barq is trying to frighten Hindus by making such threats, the UP Government must take action against him !
  •  It is history that the Mughals had attacked the Holy temples of Hindus in Ayodhya, Mathura and Kashi and built mosques there. Therefore, Hindus have the right to get back this land of Hindus, and if UP Government is making such an attempt, then how can it be wrong ? The Government should instead take action against those who issue such threats !

Sambhal (UP) – Samajwadi MP Shafiqur Rahman Barq has issued a fresh threat in response to UP Dy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya’s tweet. He said, ‘Attempts are being made to create a situation similar to Ayodhya in Mathura. There are more than 40 crore Muslims in India. Do not underestimate them. Whatever is happening is against the law. Whatever Maurya is saying, is being said based on power. He considers Muslims weak. At that time, they demolished the mosque and built a temple and now they are trying to demolish the Eidgah mosque in Mathura, but we will not allow this to happen. We will give our lives just as the farmers gave their lives in the protests’.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya had tweeted, ‘Work is underway to build a grand temple at Kashi and Ayodhya; after which, Mathura’s turn will come’.

Barq further said that the BJP is going to lose the forthcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh, so Hindus and Muslims are being provoked by making such statements. All this is being done for the elections.

Is Akhilesh Yadav for or against the temple ? Keshav Prasad Maurya

Responding to Shafiqur Rahman’s warning, Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Shafiqur Rahman belonged to Akhilesh Yadav’s gang. Akhilesh Yadav should clarify whether he is for or against the temple in Mathura.
