Austria infuriates many with full lockdown as Germany warns it may follow suit due to the rising cases of coronavirus

New Delhi – Europe has again become the epicentre of the pandemic, accounting for half of global cases and deaths. The fourth wave of infections has plunged Germany, Europe’s largest economy, into a national emergency, Health Minister Jens Spahn said, warning that vaccinations alone will not cut case numbers.

Since the coronavirus pandemic has spread very much in Austria, it has commenced total lockdown there, whereas in the Netherlands lockdown is partial. Restrictions on citizens in some parts of Germany, Republic Czechoslovakia, and Slovakia have been imposed due to not being vaccinated.
