Morning Azaan interrupts the spiritual practice of Sadhus and Saints : Pragya Singh Thakur, MP, BJP

Hindus feel that Sadhus and Saints should not be bothered in such a way especially when both Madhya Pradesh and the Centre are ruled by the BJP !

Bhopal (MP) – BJP MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur has raised serious objections on the morning Azan is being played from the mosques. Speaking at the introductory meet of the Valmiki community, she said, ‘We (the Hindus) are asked not to play bhajans or keertans in loud voice during the prayers of other communities, but these people (the Muslims) harass others by Azan on loudspeakers every morning. At 5 a.m., the loud noises of Azan disturbs the sleep, and the patients suffer too.

Sadhus and Saints also perform worship and meditation in the morning, Aarti also takes place in the morning, but we are forced to hear the noise of these loudspeakers. We Hindus respect secularism, but does any other religion behave in such a way ?’
