PM Modi celebrates Diwali with soldiers on the border

Srinagar (J&K) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed Indian soldiers, “I am here again with you. I will take new energy, hopes and confidence with me. I have not come alone but have brought along with me the blessings of crores of Indians for our soldiers here.

Like Diwali lamps, each Indian will always bestow greetings to you.” He addressed the soldiers during his visit to the Nowshera sector in Jammu and Kashmir. Like every year, PM Modi celebrated Diwali with Indian soldiers. He also paid tribute to the soldier who lost their lives in the line of duty.
PM Modi added, “Our soldiers are the ‘Suraksha Kavach’ of Maa Bharti. It is because of you people of our country can sleep peacefully and there is happiness during festivals.”
