Web series ‘Ashram’ accused of continuously defaming Hindu Dharma 

The ink was thrown at the director, Prakash Jha and other employees were beaten up

Such incidents could be happening because no action is taken against those who disrespect Hindu Dharma. Realise that Hindus never go on a rampage when their religion is insulted as it happened with Hindus in Bangladesh during the last few days for allegedly insulting the Quran.

Bhopal (MP) – Bajrang Dal workers vandalised the shooting site of director Prakash Jha’s web series ‘Ashram-3’. The ink was thrown on Prakash Jha’s face, and the other employees were thrashed, informed the Police. The Bajrang Dal activists were looking for actor Bobby Deol. The activist raised slogans like ‘Jai Shri Ram’, ‘Prakash Jha Murdabad’, and ‘Bobby Deol Murdabad’. After making the web series ‘Ashram-1’ and ‘Ashram-2’, now Prakash Jha is making ‘Ashram-3’.

Hindutva has been insulted in the ‘Ashram’ web series by director Prakash Jha and Bobby Deol. ‘Till the time the name of this series is not changed, this series will not be allowed to be telecast. Prakash Jha has shown in his web series Ashram the exploitation of women by the impostor Guru and Baba.

Do they have the courage to portray the churches and madarasas in such a way ? asked the workers of Bajrang Dal. Also, ‘Bobby Deol should learn something from his brother (actor Sunny Deol) and make films portraying patriotism’, advised Bajrang Dal.
