India is trying to send 5,000 metric tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan

India’s Gandhian mentality continues ! Who would guarantee that this humanitarian aid will reach the poor Afghans and not be consumed by the Taliban ?

New Delhi – On humanitarian grounds, the Government of India is considering sending 50,000 metric tons of wheat as well as medicine for Afghanistan. Last year, India sent 75,000 metric tons of wheat and that was shipped via the Iranian port of Chabahar.

India is now considering sending it across the Attari border via Pakistan. Discussions are being held with Pakistan for this.
