If the Constitution is ‘secular’, facilities given to minorities should be withdrawn !
Pune (Maharashtra) – “Every family should pray to Shri Ganesh and make a resolve to establish the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. This is our collective spiritual practice as per the times. Once India is declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’, all problems faced by Hindus will be solved. Articles 26 to 30 have been incorporated in the Constitution conferring special rights to minorities wherein certain facilities have been extended, such as imparting religious education, propagating their religion, getting financial aid from Governments, etc.
In 1976, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi added the word ‘secular’ to the Constitution, due to which it became neutral for all sects / religions. If the Constitution treats everyone as equal, why the discrimination between minorities and the majority ?
If minorities are to be retained in this country, the Constitution cannot be secular and if the Constitution is secular, all facilities extended to the minorities should be withdrawn because they are Ultra vires of the Constitution”, said Mr Ramesh Shinde (National Spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) on Sudarshan TV News channel.
‘Bindas Bol’ on Sudarshan TV News channel conducted an Online discussion on ‘During Ganeshotsav, pledge to establish the Hindu Rashtra’. The discussion was hosted by Mr Suresh Chavhanke (Chief Editor of Sudarshan TV news). Mr DK Dubey (Expert on the Indian Constitution) also expressed his views during this discussion.
Other points presented by Mr Ramesh Shinde
1. Hindus are called terrorists in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). By citing the Gujarat riots of 2002 also, attempts are made to portray Hindus as terrorists. Muslim, Christian, British invaders came to India and tried to destroy Indian culture. They oppressed Hindu women and made them slaves, but Hindus have never tried to eliminate any culture; therefore, we should refute misleading information spread about Hindu Dharma. When God is incarnating to establish Dharma, why do we have such a narrow mentality ?
2. Whenever Islam grows, jihad also raises its head. Pakistan and Bangladesh were created from Hindustan. In 1990, Islam grew in Kashmir and all Hindus were displaced overnight. Now, the Taliban has taken over Afghanistan. People were trying to even hang onto planes and run away from there. If we do not want to go through such a situation, we have to demand a ‘Hindu Rashtra’, which is required to keep alive our culture, festivals, temples, etc.
The word ‘Secular’ needs to be replaced with the word ‘Hindu’ in our Constitution ! : Mr DK Dubey
On 15th November 1948, Professor KT Shah presented a proposal to include the word ‘Secular’ in the Constitution. It was argued that after the Partition (into Bharat and Pakistan), India remains a country of one religion. India is a ‘Hindu Rashtra’.
The word ‘Secular’ cannot be added to the Preamble of the Constitution. It is a confusing word. (Later, Indira Gandhi added ‘Secular’ to the Constitution.) At that time, ‘Hindu’ should have been added to the Constitution, but this was not done. As per the makers of the Constitution, India has been a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ only. Now a Bill has to be passed in the Parliament to replace ‘Secular’ with the word ‘Hindu’. The definition of the word ‘Hindu’ needs to be determined.
Once India is declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’, the politics of appeasement will stop. As spoken earlier by Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar, whenever a person goes from one State to another, he/she will become a minority based on the language spoken in that State. This was the definition of ‘minority’ he meant. There is no need to define minorities based on religion.
