Why do other States and the Central Government not implement what a small State like Sikkim can do ? |

Gangtok (Sikkim) – Sikkim Government has decided to ban the selling of plastic water bottles. From 1st January 2022, Sikkim will completely ban plastic bottles.

In many parts of Sikkim, bamboo water bottles are used. Chief Minister PS Tamang said that the Himalayan State is “blessed with natural resources that provide fresh and good quality drinking water.”
