Unknown miscreants vandalise the Idol of Shri Durgadevi in Tamil Nadu’s Pancha Lingeswarar Temple

This is the third attack on Government-owned temples in the last few months

Chennai – In another horrible attack on a Hindu temple, the Deities of a Hindu temple in Kondapuram village in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu, were found to be desecrated by miscreants. The Idols of Goddesses Amman and Durga were found to be disrobed, with semen ejaculated on the Deities. The incident has caused widespread outrage among the local Hindus and they have demanded the Police arrest the accused immediately. Hindus have expressed suspicion that this act was committed by some religious converts living near this temple. This temple had been taken over by the Government. This is the third time the temple was desecrated in recent times. Hindu Munnani and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have accused the Police of failing to protect the temple despite repeated attacks on it.
