A 77-year-old Christian man spent Rs. 2 crore to build Shri Siddhivinayak Temple in Udupi

Opposition from religious fanatic Christians

Mumbai – Gabriel Nazareth (77), a resident of Mumbai has built a Shri Siddhivinayak Temple at his native place in Udupi by spending Rs. 2 crore. He has built this temple in the memory of his parents.

He was living in Mumbai since he was 13 years of age. He was working near Shri Siddhivinayak Temple at Prabhadevi in Mumbai. He used to pay obeisance to Shri Siddhivinayak every day from outside. Slowly, he turned into a devotee of Shri Siddhivinayak. A few years later, he started his own business and succeeded in his business. He decided to settle in Shirva in Udupi, Karnataka for retirement life. He built Shri Siddhivinayak Temple on his land. His friends, Satish Shetty and Ratnakar Kukiya became the trustees of the temple. The Idol is just like that of Shri Siddhivinayak in Mumbai. Nazareth believes that whatever he has earned in life is due to the grace of Shri Siddhivinayak.

Christians forbid Nazareth from going to the church

How much secularism and interfaith harmony do these Christians have is evident ! Why do the progressives (regressives) and secularist not speak anything about it ?

Satish Shetty said that Nazareth is being opposed because he built a temple. He is not allowed to go to church. Nazareth had invited priests from the church for the inaugural function, but they were not present. They have assured though, that they will pay a visit to the temple.
