
New Delhi – As per Central Government’s new Information Technology rules, WhatsApp the messaging platform submitted its new transparency report for India. According to this report, between 15th May to 15th June 2021, WhatsApp banned 2 million Indian accounts. WhatsApp has banned 8 million accounts worldwide. They said that between 15th May to 15th June, WhatsApp received 345 complaints, of which they acted against 63 WhatsApp accounts.
