A case to stop the use of IMA platform for religious propagation

New Delhi – A Trial Court had passed an order directing Indian Medical Association (IMA) Chief Jhonrose Austin Jayalal to refrain from using the IMA platform for religious propagation. Jayalal had filed an appeal in the Delhi High Court challenging the Trial Court’s order. Delhi High Court declining to stay the Trial Court’s order said, ‘the Court will not pass any ex-parte order, as nobody appeared on behalf of the person who had filed the complaint in the Trial Court’.
