Law and order in Uttar Pradesh is in a pathetic state with the brutal murders of Saints, monks, Mahants, Hindu leaders and now this! It is even more appalling that all this is taking place when Yogi Adityanath is the Chief Minister of the state
Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) – BJP leader and former Sarpanch Brijesh Singh was shot dead at night by two-wheeler borne goons. So far, Police have arrested Sunil Srivastava and Ram Samuj as accused in this case. There have been 7 murders in Gorakhpur in the last 8 days. Two days ago, Singh had a dispute with a property dealer over some land. Police are investigating if this could be the possible reason for the murder.
