Geneva (Switzerland) – The United Nations has received a $10,000 (Rs 7 lakh) “donation” from the pro-Khalistan group Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), an outfit outlawed by India. Gurpatwant Singh Pannu is the chief of SFJ.

- A spokesperson for the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in Geneva, told, “We confirm we received a contribution of $10,000 on 1st March from an individual representing the Sikhs for Justice group via our online donation function. In general, we do not decline online contributions, unless they are from groups or individuals listed on UN sanctions lists or the organisation/individual is engaged in activities manifestly contrary to the UN Charter or its principles.” (UN’s futile attempt to justify the receipt of donation from a terrorist outfit ! 2. SFJ has been opposing India’s farm laws at a global stage and is simultaneously lobbying the UN to set up a “commission of inquiry” to investigate alleged maltreatment of farmer protesters. And therefore, it has donated a sum of Rs. 7,00,000 to the UN.
