
New Delhi – The central government has approved two covid-19 vaccines- Covishield, made by Serum Institute of India and Oxford and Covaxin, made by Bharat Biotech for emergency use. The Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) clarified that both these vaccines are completely safe.

Samajwadi Party leader, Ashutosh Sinha has claimed that Covid-19 vaccine may lead to impotency. While dispelling the above charge Somani on behalf of DCGI said that, ‘we will never approve anything if there is slightest safety concern. It is absolutely rubbish to say that people may become impotent through this vaccine. I request you to ignore such statements.’
