UAE Fatwa Council approves covid-19 vaccine even with pork gelatin

Hope even Indian muslims would also adhere to this !

Abu Dhabi (UAE) – While Muslims are demanding a boycott of covid-19 vaccines since they are rumoured to contain pork gelatin, the UAE Fatwa Council, the highest Islamic authority in United Arab Emirates, has declared that the covid-19 vaccines are permissible for Muslims, even if it has pork gelatin. Muslims consider consumption of pork products “haram”, forbidden under Islamic law. Pork gelatin is a common component of vaccines.

Council Chairman Sheikh Abdallah bin Bayyah said that, there is no other option available. At present protecting human body is more important. In this case the pork gelatin is considered as medicine and not food.
