Today freedom of speech and expression are blatantly misused to indulge in character assassination and spew anti-dharmik rhetoric. The society at large definitely feels that the hon’ble courts should attempt to mete out severe punishment to stop such activity.
New Delhi – Certain persons of influence have some impact as well as an authority over common people, they owe a duty towards the common people too. The Supreme Court has stated that, this being so, it is their duty to behave with greater responsibility. The Supreme Court has stated this while refusing to quash an FIR filed against a TV channel anchor Amish Devgan, in the case of allegedly objectionable speech relating to Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti .
