I am not saying this in reference to any particular incidents, but India’s defence forces are always ready for India’s security. The global community is also standing together with India. ‘Governor Koshyari could have chosen better words’ – Amit Shah
I have read the letter Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari wrote to the Shiv Sena President and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. He had made some passing references. He should have been more restrained in his choice of words. His use of words was wrong, admitted Union Home Minister Amit Shah in a reply to a question in this interview.
On the backdrop of the closure of Hindu Temples in Maharashtra, Governor Koshyari had raised questions about the Hindutva of Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in a letter to him. Uddhav Thackeray had replied to this letter saying, ‘we don’t need your certificate to prove our Hindutva’.
