Demand for CBI Investigation by the opposition

• Christian YSR Congress party has came to power in Andhra Pradesh and such incidents are frequently happening, because Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy himself is a Christian. After reading this, the question of imposing punishment is very far, but will an impartial investigation be held in the issue? A doubt is there in every Hindu’s mind ! 
• Is it ever heard that there was a theft in any Church or Masjid ? Whereas in Hindu majority India, very often there are thefts in Hindu temples, and no Government takes the issue seriously. Realise this, to bring change in the situation, it is very essential to establish a Hindu Rashtra (Nation). 

Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) – Three out of four silver lions were stolen from Shri Kanakadurga Temple’s ‘Goddess Sacred Chariot’. Each lion has been made with 3 kgs. of silver. The main opposition party TDP has demanded a CBI Inquiry into the matter.

TDP’s legislator Buddha Venkanna has said that “the entire Hindu community is saddened by the incident and their religious sentiments have been seriously hurt”. The officials of the temple have not given a reliable information regarding the incident. Neither the matter was immediately reported to the Police. Efforts are in full swing by the managing committee to save the culprits involved in the incident. Hence, detailed information should be released by the Government and the culprits should be immediately arrested. Congress leaders are trying to loot the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. It is surprising that the Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy is maintaining silence in all these incidents. Some people are trying to occupy the land donated by the devotees to the temple. Temples are being attacked in the State. The temple officials and the Endowment Minister Vellampalli Srinivas are having knowledge about the culprit, and they should break their silence, said Venkanna.

Importance of Shri Kanakadurga temple

Shri Kanakadurga temple is one of the famous temples in South India. Arjun has performed severe penance and received the Pashupata weapon from Deity Shiva in the temple. It is said that Shri Kanakadurga temple was built by Arjun.
