Aligarh (UP) – Dr. Kafeel Khan was booked under Natinal Security Act (NSA) for delivering a provocative speech in Aligarh Muslim University during an anti – CAA protest in the campus. The period was due to expire on 12th May. UP Government has extended the detention for another 3 months.
In the year 2017, 60 children died in B.R.D Medical College and Hospital, Gorakhpur due to lack of oxygen supply. Dr. Kafeel Khan was arrested and imprisoned for this incident. Thereafter, when he completed his sentence, he was again booked for the above incident.
