New Delhi – It has been revealed that there was a conspiracy hatched by JNU student Umar Khalid and his two accomplices to incite Dehli riots. Delhi Police has registered a case against Umar Khalid and his accomplice Danish in the case.

The FIR reads that the riots took place in Delhi on 23, 24 and 25 February and were a part of a conspiracy. The plan to organise the riots was hatched by Mr. Khalid and his friends, it reads. In the FIR, it is mentioned that Mr. Khalid made hate speeches and disseminated propaganda in two places to destabilise the visit of U.S. President Donald Trump to Delhi, scheduled on 25^th and 26^th February. The conspiracy involved the accumulation of guns, petrol bombs, acid bombs and large quantities of stones in houses in Maujpur, Kardampuri, Jafrabad, Chandbagh, Gokulpuri and Shiv Vihar areas of Delhi. Stone throwing devices and other materials were arranged to throw stones and petrol bombs.

As per the FIR, Danish was assigned the task to arrange a mob from outside Delhi. As per their plan, women and children were mobilised to block the road at Jaffarabad metro station that would inconvenience the people living in the vicinity, leading to riots.
