Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – Actors of B R Chopra’s ‘Mahabharat’ serial were present for the discourse of Pundit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, held here. He emphasised on the matters related to the protection of Hindu Dharma and establishment of Hindu Rashtra in India. His assertive statements have raised eyebrows of all.

Keep away from conversions – Puneet Issar (Performed as Duryodhan)

Actor Punit Issar, who had performed the role of Duryodhan in ‘Mahabharat;’ serial stated that after attending such rallies, one feels Hindus have realised the facts now. Hindu Rashtra will definitely be established. I appeal to all my sisters, mothers and brothers to teach their children about own Dharma. Be alert from people around you. There have been incidents of forcible conversions; our daughters are being lured and converted. Beware, such things should not happen. Puneet Issar also advocated learning to use ‘Shastra (weapons)’ along with the ‘Shaastra (Science)’ and advised to give importance to exercise to remain fit.

Those working against Dharma are bound to be  destroyed – Gajendra Chauhan (Performed as Yudhishthir)

‘Yudhishthir’ from ‘Mahabharat’ i.e. actor Gajendra Chauhan also addressed the meeting when he stated that all have watched ‘Mahabharat’ serial; but we have lived it (through our acting). We destroyed those sinners who were against Dharma. Those, who work against Dharma, are bound to be destroyed. Nothing is greater than the nation.

Nitish Bhardwaj, who had performed the role of Shrikrushna in the serial, spoke about the protection of Dharma reciting verses from Bhagawadgeeta. He said that there should be love and unity amongst people; however, he also appealed to people against being neutral when Dharma is in danger and fight for its protection.
