Pakistan should act against terrorist organisations, demands US Congressman

Washington (USA) – Following the attack in Pahalgam, US Congressman Brad Sherman called on Pakistan to take action against terrorist organisations. Referring to the incident, he stated that terrorists from The Resistance Front had targeted innocent civilians and segregated them on the basis of religion. The group is believed to be linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba and is reportedly operating with shelter in Pakistan.

Sherman made these remarks during an exhibition organised by the Indian Embassy in Washington to mark the anniversary of the Pahalgam attack. The exhibition, themed “The Human Toll of Terrorism”, highlighted the devastating impact of terrorist activities.

During the event, several US lawmakers emphasised the need for strong and decisive action against terrorist organisations.
