Nashik: Religious fanatic pressures a Hindu girl to convert by telling her about Ghazwa-e-Hind

Nashik – A young woman from Panchavati area of the city was pressured to convert by telling her about ‘Ghazwa-e-Hind’. She was forcibly fed alcohol and cigarettes and tortured by the suspect Tanjeer Inamdar. He incited her to convert. The accused broke the Tulsi mala around her neck and the thread tied on her wrist. In January 2026, the accused bit the victim’s neck and said it was a ‘love bite’ and took objectionable photos with the victim. He threatened to circulate these photos on social media and tortured her. Accused Tanjeer Inamdar was taken into custody and presented in Court. He has been remanded in  Police custody for 5 days.
