Tehran, Iran – During the remaining period of the ceasefire, the Strait of Hormuz will remain fully open, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has announced. The strait will be accessible to all commercial vessels. Araghchi clarified that this decision has been taken in the context of the ceasefire in Lebanon.

Donald Trump has also welcomed Iran’s decision. He posted “Thank you, Iran” on the social media platform Truth Social.
