Cylinders booked by customers allegedly sold to others!

Mumbai, April 3rd (News Service) – A case of alleged black marketing of LPG cylinders has surfaced at the ‘Yash Hira Enterprises’ Bharat Gas agency located in Mahadevachi Wadi, Parel Village.
According to reports, cylinders officially booked by customers were allegedly diverted and sold to other individuals without the customers’ knowledge.
After completing online bookings, customers received mobile messages confirming that their cylinders had been delivered. However, the cylinders were never actually received. When customers visited the agency office for verification, they were informed that payment for the booked cylinders had already been credited to the agency’s account.
The fact that payments were recorded despite customers not receiving the cylinders indicates that the booked cylinders may have been sold to others. There is also suspicion that the cylinders were illegally sold at inflated prices in the black market.
Multiple such incidents have reportedly come to light. Several affected customers have submitted complaints to the Chief Minister’s Office as well as to Bharat Gas authorities seeking action in the matter.
Editorial perspectiveIt is not wrong if customers say strict punishment is needed for officials, employees, and fake beneficiaries involved in black marketing, and such misconduct deserves strong corrective action. |
