Message from Iran’s Intelligence Agency

Tehran (Iran) / Tel Aviv (Israel) – There is widespread fear of war among ordinary citizens in both Israel and Iran. Iran’s intelligence agency has informed the public that the conflict is likely to continue for a long duration and that people must remain prepared. Schools and colleges have been closed. Citizens have been urged to place their trust in the military. It has also been stated that any aggression will be firmly retaliated against.
Iran attacks Tel Aviv as well
Iran has reportedly launched missile strikes on Tel Aviv, Israel’s capital, prompting residents to take shelter in bunkers. Israeli citizens have said that the United States and Israel are united in fighting what they describe as their greatest enemy, Iran. They claim that Iran poses a threat not only to Israel but to the entire world. According to them, Iran’s missiles have a range of up to 4,000 kilometres, raising concerns that European countries could also come within striking distance.
We are safe in Israel – Indian citizen
An Indian residing in Israel told the media that Israeli citizens are mentally very resilient and accustomed to living under such conditions. They are trained and prepared to protect themselves during times of war. Indians living there are also currently safe. “We are fine here. At present, we do not wish to request evacuation by the government. We are not feeling fearful,” the individual said.
On the other hand, Professor Mohammad Hussein Suratwala from Qom, Iran, stated that a significant number of Indian students reside in cities such as Tehran, Qom, Isfahan, and Arak. Even during the conflict with Israel in June 2025, there were no reports of attacks or damage in areas inhabited by Indians. This time as well, there have been no reports of any Indian casualties.

It has appealed that, should the situation worsen, necessary steps be taken to ensure their safe return to India.
According to official data from January 2026, more than 10,000 Indians, including students, are residing in Iran, while over 41,000 Indians are living in Israel.
