University expels 4 students !

Peshawar (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) – Students sang the national anthem of India ‘Jana Gana Mana’ at ‘Bacha Khan University’ in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Here 4 students of the pharmacy department had participated in a music session at the youth festival.
In this session, a student named Gibran Riaz enthusiastically sang the complete national anthem of India, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, while another student Syed Riaz Ahmed also joined him. The video of the incident was circulated on social media, which was protested and the university administration immediately expelled 4 students from the university.
The students were accused of acting illegally as per the rules of the university and hostels, raising slogans against the country.
Some people justified the action of these students and said that this incident is an example of harmony between India and Pakistan. However, some local groups and social media have termed this act as anti-national or detrimental to national identity.
