A young Man Killed by Kite String in Lucknow

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Following the death of a young man in the Bazarkhala area of the capital city Lucknow after getting entangled in Chinese kite string, the Uttar Pradesh government has taken a strict decision. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has imposed a complete ban on the use of Chinese kite string in the state. In this regard, he has ordered police officers to conduct raids throughout the state. He has also clarified that “deaths caused by Chinese kite string will be considered in the category of murder.”
On February 4, a young man’s throat was slit by a kite string (Chinese kite string) in the Bazarkhala area. The young man died due to a severed artery in his neck. A few days ago, metro rail services were halted when a kite string fell on a high-voltage power line.
Bazarkhala police station inspector Brijesh Singh said that a Chinese kite string, suddenly hanging in the air on a flyover, got entangled in the neck of a young man named Shoaib, who was riding a motorcycle. Since thestring was extremely sharp, it cut an artery in his neck. People present there immediately took him to the hospital; however, he died due to excessive bleeding.
