Bhagat Singh Koshyari announces unwavering devotion to Bharat Mata

Mumbai – “I do not work for praise or fear criticism. I am a swayamsevak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Bharat Mata is everything to me. I work for her and will continue to do so. If someone feels offended by my work, what can I do about it ?” stated Bhagat Singh Koshyari, former Governor of Maharashtra.
On the eve of Republic Day, the Union Government announced the Padma awards, in which Koshyari has been conferred the Padma Bhushan, the third-highest civilian award of the country. Following the announcement, opposition parties in the State began criticising the decision. Responding to this criticism, Koshyari made the above statement while speaking to a news channel.
