Pakistani drones intrude into India from the Kashmir border

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) – On January 11, suspicious drone activity was observed in the areas near the international border and Line of Control in the Samba, Poonch, and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir. These drones were sent from Pakistan into India. Following the intrusion of the drones into Indian territory, firing took place from the Indian side. After the drones were spotted, the Indian security agencies immediately launched an investigation. For the past few days, there have been continuous attempts at infiltration from the Pakistani side. Attempts are also being made to send weapons into India from Pakistan using drones.

1. A drone reached the Teryath village in Rajouri district. The drone then proceeded towards the villages of Kalakot and Dharamsal. Clearly visible flashing lights were seen on the drone. Another drone was spotted in Babral village of Ramgarh sector. This drone was seen hovering over the village for a few seconds. After that, the drone quickly flew away directly towards Pakistan.

2. A drone was spotted in the Mankot sector of Poonch district in the evening. Security agencies are on high alert due to the repeated sightings of drones. There are also reports that some weapons were sent from Pakistan to India via a drone near Paloura village in Ghagwal, Samba district.
