Close ties between Pakistani Army and Lashkar-e-Taiba

Video of Saifullah Kasuri, the mastermind of the Pahalgam attack, comes to light

New Delhi – Fresh evidence has emerged reinforcing allegations of links between the Pakistani army and the terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba. Saifullah Kasuri, the mastermind behind the Pahalgam attack, has openly stated that he has close relations with the Pakistani military. A video related to this has surfaced and is going viral on social media. In the video, Kasuri is seen speaking at a programme held at a school in Pakistan.

In the video, Kasuri says that the Pakistani army regularly invites him to its events. Not only that, but he is also invited to the funerals of soldiers. He further claims that India is currently frightened. According to him, after India carried out ‘Operation Sindoor’, terrorist bases did suffer damage; however, by doing so, India committed a very serious mistake. Lashkar-e-Taiba, he asserts, will not back down from its stand on Kashmir. Kasuri had earlier also stated that “the Pahalgam attack was a matter of pride for us.”
