Bangladeshi devout Hindu voices serious concern to ‘Sanatan Prabhat’

Dhaka (Bangladesh) – “Given the prevailing conditions in Bangladesh, Hindu citizens are afraid to speak out against the atrocities being committed against them. Innocent Hindus, their families, and the community are being targeted despite having committed no crime. Even the option of seeking refuge in India has been blocked, as visa services are suspended. As a result, fear prevails, and people hesitate to speak openly about the situation,” a Devout Hindu leader from Bangladesh told ‘Sanatan Prabhat’.
‘Sanatan Prabhat’ had contacted several Hindu leaders in Bangladesh to understand the ground reality of ordinary Bangladeshi Hindus. During these discussions, one leader described the current situation as extremely alarming.

He stated, “A strong anti-India mindset exists across much of Bangladeshi (Muslim) families. Elements hostile to Hindus would attack us anytime. In such a situation, we feel helpless.”(The Government of India must take serious note of these concerns and provide all possible assistance to the afflicted Hindus – Editor.)
He further added that every incident is being used to trouble Hindus and provocative words are used deliberately.
Editorial PerspectiveThe situation faced by Hindus in Bangladesh is not only a case of religious persecution but also a serious violation of human rights. At this stage, Hindus across India must urge MLAs and MPs in their respective constituencies to take steps to protect Bangladeshi Hindus. Indian Hindus must remember, ‘While Hindus in Bangladesh are being tormented, Hindus in India might be facing the same tomorrow.’ |
