Majority of the demolished houses belonged to Muslims

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Pakistan has now reacted to the demolition of illegal houses in the Kogilu slum area of Bengaluru. Most of the demolished structures reportedly belonged to Muslims. Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the matter, claiming that the action against Muslim homes was carried out with government support. The statement also referred to alleged attacks on Christians and described these developments as a matter of serious concern.

Responding to Pakistan’s remarks, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Development Minister D.K. Shivakumar stated that senior leaders at the national level would respond to Pakistan’s comments.
Meanwhile, Housing and Minority Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan expressed strong displeasure. He questioned Pakistan’s right to comment on the issue, asking, “What connection does Pakistan have with this matter? Why is Pakistan commenting on India’s internal affairs? Who gave Pakistan the authority to claim concern for Muslims?” He further added that Pakistan should first focus on its own poverty and internal conditions.

Who informed Pakistan’s Foreign Minister ? – BJP
BJP leader R. Ashok alleged that someone must have informed Pakistan’s Foreign Minister about the Bengaluru action. “Someone from here must have made a phone call to them,” he said, adding that the information may have reached Pakistan through terrorist elements. He claimed that the fact that details of the encroachment removal reached Pakistan within just a day clearly indicates the presence of active terrorist networks.
