Not even a single student in more than 5 thousand Government schools in the country

New Delhi – Out of 10 lakh 13 thousand Government schools across the country, 5 thousand 149
schools are totally devoid of students. More than 70 % of these schools with zero enrolment in 2024-
25 are in Telangana and Bengal. The Ministry of Education gave this information in Parliament. The
number of schools with zero or fewer than 10 students enrolled increased by 24 % in the last one
year.

Ban on 43 OTT platforms 

Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan stated in the Lok Sabha, in response to a question, that 43 OTT platforms have been banned. These were broadcasting legally prohibited content.

Will the Government think about 'Why does every Government establishment and otherimportant initiatives like Government schools, etc. fail? The Government has privatised many Government initiatives. It should not be surprising if the entire administrative system is privatised in the future!
