
New Delhi – Out of 10 lakh 13 thousand Government schools across the country, 5 thousand 149
schools are totally devoid of students. More than 70 % of these schools with zero enrolment in 2024-
25 are in Telangana and Bengal. The Ministry of Education gave this information in Parliament. The
number of schools with zero or fewer than 10 students enrolled increased by 24 % in the last one
year.
Ban on 43 OTT platformsUnion Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L. Murugan stated in the Lok Sabha, in response to a question, that 43 OTT platforms have been banned. These were broadcasting legally prohibited content. |
