From museums to food, everything in Britain is Indian : Suhel Seth, Writer and Thinker

While speaking at the program, British thinker Suhel Seth

London (Britain) – India has given Britain not only history but also modern leadership. We gave you a great Prime Minister in Rishi Sunak and will continue to give you more. This was the statement of British writer and thinker Suhel Seth of Indian origin, during a speech in a programme attended by even the British MPs.

Statements made by Suhel Seth

1. India’s journey from independence to today’s confident and globally active India has been significant and inspirational.

2. Many museums in Britain, educational system and even food culture have Indian influence. There is a bold Indian impact over the British life style which is experienced everyday. Indian cuisine is considered a national cuisine in Britain. Mr Seth highlighted that the Tata Group, an Indian conglomerate, is the single largest employer in Britain.

3. India is not the same as it was in 1947; nor is it the same as it was in 1991 but it is a powerful, confident and culturally rich country going towards 2030.

4. Indians have proved their identity all over the world, with or without Indian visas.

5. India is not only a country, a republic or a democracy but it is an ancient culture. India has taught culture to the world for many years. We are the descendants of the land that belonged to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. We are also the descendants of all those anonymous Indian warriors who fought for Britain in the war.
