Raigad, 13th November (News) – On 11th November, Jamir Qutubuddin Momin, a teacher in ‘New English School, Johe’, beat a Hindu student from 8th standard for uttering ‘Jai Shriram’ in his class. This incident resulted in fury among the local Hindus who demanded action against the fanatic teacher. The Student’s father registered a complaint against the brutal, fanatic teacher at the Dadar Sagari police station. The police arrested Jamir Momin. ‘New English School, Johe’ is managed by the Shri Swami Vivekananda Shikshan Sanstha in Kolhapur. On that day, when the son of Bhanudas Patil, a resident of Pen, was in his class, Jamir Qutubuddin Momin, busy with his mobile, entered the class. At that time, one of the students uttered ‘Jai Shriram’. Assuming that Bhanudas Patil’s son had spoken those words, the teacher beat him severely, so much so that his clothes were torn. The student reported this incident to his parents. This prompted Bhanudas Patil to register a complaint against the fanatic teacher.
