1. Additional Director General of Police, Raja Babu Singh, has launched this new initiative. It is giving a new direction to police training and providing a moral foundation to the lives of the personnel. According to him, the Shriramcharitmanas and the Bhagwadgeeta are scriptures that reveal the true essence of life and teach the principles of righteous living.

2. The police personnel are being introduced to the teachings of the Bhagwadgeeta that promote dedication to duty and ideal conduct. The doctrines of Karmayoga, Nishkama Karma (selfless action), and Samatvabhava (equanimity) are being explained to them. These lessons are expected to help police officers take correct decisions during challenging situations and maintain calmness even under stress, thereby strengthening their spirit of service and devotion.
3. After their rigorous training and daily duties, when the recruits gather together, a person dressed in a yellow kurta explains to them the verses of the Bhagwadgeeta along with their meanings. At present, around 4,000 young men and women are undergoing nine months of training for the post of constable.
