Mumbai – A Monorail coach derailed during a test run at Wadala, tilting to one side and colliding with a nearby pillar. Fortunately, there were no passengers on board, averting a potential disaster. The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. while the Monorail was being switched to another track. Due to a technical malfunction, the coach came off the rail and hit the pillar beside the track.
When journalists attempted to speak to Monorail officials present at the scene, one of the officials declined to respond to their questions.
