Khawaja Asif accuses India of controlling Afghanistan after Pakistan-Taliban talks collapse

Islamabad (Pakistan) — “People sitting in Kabul are playing with puppets and they are being controlled by Delhi. India is trying to balance its western frontier through Kabul, and Kabul is being used for that purpose. If Kabul attacks Islamabad, Pakistan will respond fifty times more harshly,” Pakistan’s defence minister Khawaja Asif charged, after talks between Pakistan and the Taliban broke down.
After the failure of talks between Pakistan and the Taliban, Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif once again targeted India, saying — “India is controlling Afghanistan!”

1. According to sources, Pakistan sought permission to strike Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) bases inside Afghanistan; the Taliban government refused and the talks collapsed. Pakistan acknowledged that it had requested permission to carry out strikes using US drones, which the Taliban denied.
2. Afghan sources warned that if Pakistan attacks in the future, there will be retaliation and Islamabad would be targeted. (A small Afghanistan may threaten Pakistan, while India is expected to permanently destroy Pakistan ! – Editor.)
