Britain, which has a defense agreement with India, will sell fighter jets to anti-Indian Turkey

Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan

London (Britain) – When British Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited India in October, India signed important economic and defense agreements with him. Britain will supply lightweight missiles to the Indian army. Now Starmer has gone on a tour of Turkey, where he signed an agreement to sell 20 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets to Turkey. India’s relations with Turkey are not good. In such a situation, it is clear that Britain’s intention to sign defense agreements with it is only to gain economic benefits. During Operation Sindoor, Turkey had openly supported Pakistan. Not only this, it was reported that it had sent a warship to the Karachi port. After that, India established strong military relations with Turkey’s neighboring countries (Greece, Cyprus and Armenia).

Editorial Perspective

Whether it is US or European countries, they can never be friends or enemies of anyone. They only look after the benefits of their country. India should adopt tit for tat policy for these countries.
