‘Awami League’ blames the ruling government

Bangladesh – Atrocities against minority Hindus in the country continue to escalate. Recently, it came to light that Kinkor Das, a resident of the Mouli area in Narail district, was kidnapped and brutally assaulted.
1. Kinkor Das was found the next day after his abduction; however, his body bore severe injuries from the assault. His motorcycle, gold chain, and ring were looted.
2. Commenting on the incident, a leader of the Awami League said, “The case of Kinkor Das shows that the Hindu community in Bangladesh is living in fear. He was kidnapped, tortured, and robbed. This is not an isolated case; it reflects the terrifying pattern of planned violence against minorities in the country.”
3. Questioning the interim government, the Awami League stated that under the illegal rule of Muhammad Yunus, backed by Jamaat-e-Islami, the desecration of temples, Idol-breaking, and organised violence have become routine. The very concept of ‘justice’ seems to have vanished. What kind of regime is this, where being a minority itself becomes a crime ?
