Muslim youth slit the throat of a Hindu boy for bringing medicine to a Muslim woman

Incident from a village in Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh)

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh) – In Tejpur village, a group of Muslims brutally murdered an 18-year-old Hindu youth named Karan by slitting his throat. His only “fault” was bringing medicine for a sick Muslim woman. Police have arrested 8 individuals in connection with the case.

Karan, who worked as a daily wage labourer in Noida, had returned home on leave. On the night of October 12th, when a Muslim woman from his village fell ill, he went to fetch medicine for her. Members of a nearby Muslim family took offence to this act. Around 11:30 p.m., they forcibly dragged Karan into an abandoned house and slit his throat with a knife, killing him on the spot.

Villagers lay siege to the police station

As news of the murder spread, tension gripped the village, prompting heavy police deployment. Enraged relatives and villagers surrounded the local police station in protest, demanding strict action. Within a few hours, police arrested Nafees Khan, Shamshad Khan, Asad Khan, Idris, and 4 others involved in the killing.

Editorial Perspectives

  • In India, it is not the Muslims but the Hindus who are unsafe! This incident once again shows that for fanatic elements; any excuse is enough to kill a Hindu.
  • If such a situation exists in Uttar Pradesh, where Yogi Adityanath’s government is in power, one can only imagine the plight of Hindus in other states!
