Over 1,000 Shia Muslims killed
Damascus (Syria) – For the past three days, a horrific massacre has been taking place in Syria, resulting in the deaths of over 1,000 Shia Muslims. The conflict between the new ruling government and supporters of former President Bashar al-Assad has escalated into a bloodbath.
Many victims were shot at point-blank range. 148 members of armed groups loyal to Assad have been killed. Large areas around Latakia city have been cut off from electricity and drinking water.

Brutal Killings and Ethnic Cleansing
Alawites Majority villages and towns have witnessed mass executions. Armed attackers are specifically targeting men, dragging them out of their homes and shooting them in the streets. Pedestrians are being shot at random, while Alawite houses are looted and set on fire. Many are fleeing to mountainous areas, abandoning their homes to escape the carnage.
Religious Identification Before Execution:
In several places, victims were questioned about their faith before being killed. Identification documents were checked, and if their Alawite identity was confirmed, they were executed on the spot. Houses belonging to Alawite families are being systematically burned down. The situation in Syria remains highly volatile, with ongoing sectarian violence and targeted massacres of religious minorities.
